singularstep Can‘t say I‘m surprised by how good this album is, because I‘ve gotten used to the fact that the music coming out of the young Guatemalan underground scene is incredibly solid. NEW ERA is an eclectic mix of styles – cool cruising chillwave, rain-soaked dreampunk and some lofi beats for good measure – all of it made whole by a wonderful sense for emotional melodies and scene-setting soundscapes. Was hard to pick a favorite track … Favorite track: MY PAST.
